Create something.
Make something.

The making of ceramic art requires tactile skill and intellectual depth.
Alex teaches creative “courage.”

Every artist needs courage to avoid perpetual analysis, too much information and research may hinder creativity. Every artist needs courage to make decisions and execute a strategy. Every artist needs courage to adjust the strategy.

Alex encourages his students to evaluate, assess and adjust their creative process if the result does not meet their expectation.  And finally every artist needs courage to accept responsibility for failure and the courage to share success. Alex believes we all learn by doing.
Al;ex's students create art that reflects their desire to create functional, decorative or conceptual art.
